A particle of.mass m moves on a circle of diameter.r with a constant speed v then the work done by the force on the particle in moving from one end of diameter to the other end​

When the particle revovles in a circle force that acts is centripetal force which is equal to mv^2÷r . Here m is mass of particle v is velocity of particle and r is radius of circle.

Work done = Force × Displacement

= mv^2÷r × 2r

=2 mv^2
