a particle completes 1 revolution in 40 seconds

in 1 second he will complete 1/40 revolution

2minutes20seconds=140seconds

in 140 seconds he will be able to complete 3.5 revolution

so he would have covered half distance of his fourth revolution

Therefore displacement will be 2r because he had completed the semi circle and diameter will be the displacement

distance=3.5*circumference of circle

distance=3.5*22/7*2r
