A particle performs UCM The diametor of
the circle is 4cm What is the amplitude
of linear SHM that is the projection of the
UCM on a diameter?​

Answer:

the amplitude of the SHM depends upon the phase difference and initial phase angle if initial phase is 0 and phase difference lets say π/6

then, amplitude will be cos 30 degrees = Amplitude/radius

i.e. √3/2 = a/ 2

a = 1.7 cm
