A particle projected vertically upwards from a point A on the ground. It takes t1 sec to reach appoint B at a height “h” from B but still continues to move up. If it further takes t2 sec from B to the ground again, then find maximum height reached.

The maximum height reached = 2u/g which means maximum height attained by the body and it is equal to two times of initial velocity by acceleration owing to the gravity.

The basic formula used in the above condition is the law of conservation of energy which is potential energy and kinetic energy and arrived as v2 = 2gh.

The slight modification has been done in the formula v2= 2g (h1+h2)
