a particle starting from rest has a constant accleration of 4m/s2 for 4seconds . It then retards uniformily for next 8 seconds and come to rest . Average acceleration during the motion of the particle is
a) 4m/s2
b)0 m/s2
c) 8m/s2
d) -4m/s2

nirpendrasingj: is it 0 m/s^2??

Explanation:

initial velocity = 0 m/s and also final velocity is =0m/s . so, (final velocity +initial velocity ) / 2 = (0m/s + 0m/s ) /2 = 0 m/s^2
