A particle takes 20s to complete one revolution in a circular path of radius 7m
What is the distance and the displacement if the object travels for 90s?

Answer:

distance =total length travelled by the article

displacement=difference between origin and final postion

circumference=2(pie)r =2*22*7/7=44 mtr

in 20seconds one revolution=44 mtr

in 90 seconds =90/20=4.5 revolutions=4.5*44=198 mtr

now at 80th second he will complete 4 revolution so in 10 seconds he will do half revolution

then the straight difference b/w origin and final point will be equal to diameter=14 mtr
