A particle travels 10m in first 5 seconds 10m in next 3 seconds. Assuming constant acceleration what is the
distance travelled in next 2 second :-​

First figure out the acceleration of the particle

using

s=ut+ 1/2at^2

for s=10m u=0m/s(at rest or relatively)

and t=5 s

we get

=4/5 or 0.8m/s^2

then using the value of 'a' to find total distance.

again in above eq but values

u=0, t=10 (5+3+2)

we get s=40m

Subtracting 20m (covered in 5+3s)

we get 20m thus distance traveled in 2 s
