A particle was at rest from 9 a.m. moved at uniform speed and kilometre per hour from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. the average speed between first 9:00 a.m. to 10 a.m. and second 9:15 a.m. to 10 a.m.

1. The average speed between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM will be

   Average speed = Total distance traveled / Total time
                              = Speed (km per hr) * 0.5 ( hr ) / 1 ( hr )


2. The average speed between 9:15 AM and 10:00 AM will be

   Average speed = Total distance traveled / Total time
                              = Speed (km per hr) * 0.5 ( hr ) / 0.75 ( hr )

Just replace the value of speed to get the exact answer.
