Circumference of circle is 2πr
Circumference of semicircle or half circle is 2πr/2 = πr
Therefore, displacement(shortest distance between both points) is the diameter of the circle,which is twice the radius
Hence,the particle now is at displacement of magnitude of 2r from the initial point.
