capacity square base talcum powder=5×5×14
=140g
then , capacity of circular base talcum powder =22/7×3.5×3.5×12
=462g
the capacity of circular is greater than circular is 320g

Answer:

Given that,

A particular brand of talcum powder is available in two packs:

A plastic can with a square base of side 5 cm

and of height 14 cm

or

Other with a circular base of radius 3.5 cm and of height 12 cm.

Case:- 1 A plastic can with a square base of

side 5 cm and of height 14 cm

So, this figure is a cuboid with

Length, 1-5 cm

Breadth, b=5 cm

Height, h = 14 cm

So.

Volume Cubo) lbh 5x5x14-350 cm³

Hence,

Volume Fint can)=350 cm³

Case: 2 Other with a circular base of radius 3.5 cm and of height 12 cm.

So, its a cylinder with

Radius, r = 3,5 cm

Height, h=12 cm

So,

Volume Cylinder) - Trh (3.5)² × 12-4

So,

Volume Second can) 462 cm³

So, from above we concluded that

Volume First can)=350 cm³

Volume Second can) -462 cm³

Hence,

Volume Second can] > Volume First can)

and

-> Difference = 462-350- 112 cm³
