THIS IS KNOWN AS NATURAL SELECTION. THE FITTEST IS SELECTED AND THE WEAKER EVENTUALLY DISAPPEARS OR DIES.

The nature favors the fittest phenotypes(TRAITS) in a given circumstances. >(1)These phenotyes of a population, who are FITTEST for a circumstances produces more offsprings.2) These offsprings inherits the traits from their parents and are also likely to succeed in competition for resources (assuming the environment continue to pose the same challenges as those faced by parents).
(3) Over several generations, the proportions of offsprings having the desirable (Fitness Traits) in the population increses and so the traits that made the ancestors successful, will also increase in the frequency.
(4) NATURAL SELECTION -->LEADS TO ADAPTATION AND TRAITS OF OFFSPRINGS CONFIRM THE ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS FOR EXISTENCE.
(5) In this way we can say nature favors the traits of fitness and reject those traits which are unable to withstand the environmental circumstances.
Hope it helps.
