This is the example of Allopatric speciation due to geographical isolation.

Explanation:

Allopatric speciation means when a population is separated from the main population due to geographical barrier and thus new species formation takes place as mutation occur in their genes which are completely different from the main population.

The process through which change in their mutation takes place or change in the frequency of the existing genes takes place  is called Genetic drift.
