The particles follows circular path .

As x= a sin omega t and y= a sin omega t .

Sin omega t= x/a and cos omega t= y/a

Hence squareing and adding

sin² omega t + cos² omega t =x²/a²+y²/a²

or x²/a²+y²/a²=1

or x²+y²=a²

Hence it is a circular path
