A passenger tossed a handkerchief in a running train which falls at the place where he tossed why? instead it should fall behind him because the train has covered a distance in that time when he tossed​

this is because the hanker chief is travelling with the same velocity as the train and when left , moves a certain distance which makes the hanker chief land exactly where he tossed it
