A passenger train, running at a speed of 80 km/hr leaves a railway station 6 hour after a good train leaves and overtakes it in 4 hours. what is the speed of the good train(pls give long method)​

I took the distance same because the first train have travelled 480 km ,so to overtake the train the new train should travel 480 km first

For this train to overtake the good train it must cover this distance which the good train covered since it left.

Since the good train left it covered 320 km.

Speed = Distance / time

We do the substitution as follows :

Speed of the good train = 320/10 = 32km/

= 32 km/h
