as the sides of the square park is 30m
and the width of the path is 1m.
from the fig above we have a square of sides 1m on each corner whose area is 1 square m, therefore the total area on the corners will be 4*1 squat meter . hence the remaining area of the path can be obtained as 4*28 square meters. therefore total area of the path is 4 square m + 112 square meters= 116square meters. as each square meter cost 70 rupees therefore total cost is 116*70=8120rupees
and the width of the path is 1m.

Answer:
Step-by-step explanation:
side of square park=30m
width of park= 1m
side of inner park =30-1-1m
=28m
Cost of construction=₹70 per m^2
Area of path = Area of square park - Area of park inside the path
=A^2-a^2
=30^2-28^2
= 900 - 784
=116m^2
therefore cost of construction = ₹70 × 116
=₹ 8120
