SOLUTION:-

• Path 2m broad .
• So side of outer square= 22m

Area of outer square = side*side

                                    = 22×22= 484 sq. m.

Area of inner square = 18×18=324 sq. m.

Area of path= outer area - inner area

                     = 484 - 324

                      = 160 sq. m

Cost of construction of path= Rs.178/m^2

                                                =160×178

                                                =Rs.28,480
