Answer :-

we have,

• Radius of circular field = 70 m = radius of inner circle = r
• Radius of outer circle = radius of inner circle + width of path = 70 + 2 = 72 m = R

so,

→ Area of path = Area of outer circle - Area of inner circle .

→ Area of path = πR² - πr²

→ Area of path = π(72² - 70²)

→ Area of path = π(72 + 70) * (72 - 70)

→ Area of path = (22/7) * 2 * 142

→ Area of path = (22/7) * 284 m²

then,

→ Total coet of cemented the path = Rate / m² * total area = 70 * (22/7) * 284 = 220 * 284 = Rs.62480 (Ans.)
