Solution :-

Dimension of park :-

Side of park = 100 m

Area of park = (side)² = (100)² = 10000 m².

Now, A path 2m wide runs along inside a square park of side 100m.

So, inner Dimension of square

Side of inner square = 100 - 2 - 2 = 96 m

So, Area of inner square = (side)² = (96)² = 9216 m²

★ So, Area of path = Area of park - Area of inner square

Area of path = 10000 - 9216 = 784 m²

Cost of cementing path for 10 m² = ₹ 250

Cost of cementing path for 1 m² = ₹ 25

★ Cost of cementing path for 784 m² = 25 × 784 = ₹ 19600
