A path 3.5m wide runs inside along the boundary of a square field whose side is 65m find the area of the path also find the cost of manuring the rest of the field at the rate of ₹25 per square metre​

Side of outer sq = 65m

width of path = 3.5m

cost of measuring = 25 rupees/sq metre

side of inner sq = 65 - (2 * 3.5)

= 58m

area of path. = 65 * 65 - 58 * 58

= 4225 - 3364

= 861 sq metres

cost of measuring the rest of the field = 3364 * 25

= ₹ 84100
