Step-by-step explanation:

Here,

area of a rectangular field= l×b

= 116m×76m

= 8816m²

Now,

area of rectangle without the path= (l-6)× (b-6)

(3m wide × both sides= 6m wide)

= (116-6)m× (76-6)m

= 110m×70m

=7700m²

therefore area of the path= 8816m²-7700m²

=1116m²

cost of gravelling= 1116m²× ₹42.50/m²

=1116×₹42.50

=₹47'430

Answer:

answer :

  • First, area of whole plot,

116mx76m=8816 metre square

  • Now, area of plot excluding path,

(116-6)x(76-6)=7700 metre square

  • Now,area of only path,

8816-7700=1116 metre square

  • Now,cost of gravling path,

1116x42.50=47430RS
