Side of square park :

= 100 m

Width  of path inside the park :

= 3 m

To Find :

Area of the path = ?

Solution :

∴Side of the bigger square :

= 100 m

So  the area of bigger square  :

= $100^{2} m^{2}$

=$10000m^{2}$

Now the side of smaller square :

= (100 - 6 ) m

= 94 m

So the area of of smaller square :

= $94^{2} m^{2}$

=8836$m^{2}$

So the area of path :

= (10000 - 8836) m²

=1164 m²
