Hello Mate!

Here a big square has side = 65 m

Length of inner square = 65m - ( 3.5 + 3.5 )m
= 58 m

Area of path = Area of outer square - Area of inner square

= 65^2 - 58^2
= ( 65 + 58 )( 65 - 58 )
= 123 × 7
= 861 m^2

Area of inner field = 58^2
= ( 60 - 2 )^2 = 60^2 + 2^2 - 2 × 60 × 2
= 3600 + 4 - 240 = 3604 - 240
= 3364 m^2

Cost of manuring = 3364 × 25
= Rs 84,100

Hope it helps☺!✌

Step-by-step explanation:

Answer:

→ Area of the path = 861 m² .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

→ Width of path = 3.5 m .

→ Side of square park along with path = 65 m .

To find :-

→ Area of the path .

Solution :-

∵ Side of square park without the path = 65 - ( 2 × 3.5 )  =  58 m .

Now, area of square park alnog with path

= side × side .

= ( 65 × 65 ) m² .

= 4225 m² .

And, area of square park without path

= side × side .

= ( 58 × 58 ) m² .

= 3364 m² .

Therefore, area of the path = ( 4225 - 3364 ) m² .

= 861 m² .

And, cost of measuring the rest of the field = 3364 × 25 .

= ₹86100 .

Hence, it is solved . .. ..
