Area of rectangular park = length × breadth

= (25 × 20) m^2

= 500 m^2

Since 2m wide path runs outside the park .So the length of park along with

path is 27m and the breadth of park

along with park is 22m.

Area of park with path = 27m*22m

= m^2

Area of path = area of rectangular park with path - area of park

= (564-500)m^2

= 1176 m^2
