Step-by-step explanation:

Area of circular park=22/7  x 17 x 17

=6359/7

=908.2857m2

Radius of inner circle=radius of park-width of path

=17-8

=9m

Area of inner circle = 22/7 x 9 x 9

=1782/7

=254.5714m2

Area of path = area of park - area of inner circle

=908.2857 - 254.5714

=653.7143m2

SOLUTION

Here,

r= 18m is the radius of the circular park.

The 7m wide path makes a bigger circle with the radius.

so,

R= 18+7 = 25m

Therefore,

area of the path = πR^2 -πr^2

=) π(R^2-r^2)

=) π(R+r) (R-r)

=) π(25+18) (25-18)

=) 22/7× 43×7

=) 22× 43

=) 946 m^2

hope it helps ✔️
