Given, FOR RECTABGULAR PLACE
Dimensions = 32m × 18m
Thus, Length = 32m
and breadth = 18m

Thus,
Area of rectangular place = length × breadth
Area of rectangular place = 32m × 18m
Area of rectangular place = 576m²

FOR A UNIFORM PATH OUTSIDE THE RECTANGULAR PLACE.

Wide = 2.5m

Consider, the border outside the uniform path as a new big rectangle.

FOR NEW RECTANGLE;
Length= 32m + 2.5m = 34.5m
Breadtth = 18m + 2.5m = 20.5m

Area of New big rectangular place
= 34.5m×20.5m
=707.25m².

Therefore,
area of uniform path = 707.25m² - 576m².
area of uniform path = 131.25m².
