Answer:

Answer: 600M^2

we get 2 rectangle.

1 is the outer field

2nd is a rectangle inside the field.

the dimensions of the inner rectangle wil be as

length= 40-5-5=30.m

breath= 30-5-5=20m

Area of outer field =l×b=40 ×30=1200sqm

Area of inner rectangle=l×b=30×20=600sq m.

area of path =1200-600=60sqm

Step-by-step explanation:

the area of the rectangle=(40 x 30)=1200meter square

length of the inner rectangular field =(40-2(5))=30m

breadth of the inner rectangular field=(30-2(5))=20 meter

area of the inner rectangular field=(30 x 20)=600 meters square

∴area of the path=(area of rectangle - area of inner rectangle)

(1200-600)meters square

600meters square(ans)
