=2500m sq.
area of square with path,
A=50+2.5
=52.5
area=52.5 sq.
=2756.25
area of path=2756.25-2500
=256.25

Side of square= 50m
width of path= 2.5m
area of small square= a^2
= (50)^2
= 2500m^2
side of big square= 50+2.5+2.5
= 55m
area of big square=(55)^2
=3025m^2
area of path= area of big square - area of small
square

area of path = 3025 - 2500
= 525m^2
