A path of width 2m runs around a square garden of side 30m . Find area of the path

side of garden = 30 m
area = 30 × 30
= 900 m square

width of path = 2 m
so, length = 30 + 2 + 2
= 34 m

so, area = 34 × 34
= 1156 m square

area of the path = 1156 - 900
= 556 m square

Note :- you had not mentioned that path is inside or outside .so, i calculated according to Outside....
