Answer:

Given :

A 5m wide path is running around a rectangular park of length 20m and breadth 10m

To find :

find the area of the path

Solution:

Length of park = 20 m

Width of park = 10 m

A 5 m wide path is running around a rectangular park

Outer length =20+5+5=30 m

Outer breadth = 10+5+5=20 m

Area of path = Outer area - Inner area =

(30 \times 20)-(20 \times 10)=400 sq.m.</p><p></p><p>(30×20)−(20×10)=400sq.m.

\huge \green{ \boxed{ 400sqm.}}
