Given inner side of square park, s = 100 cm
Area of inner square = 1002 = 10000 sq cm
width of path, w = 5 m
Outer side of square = 100 + 10 = 110 cm
Area of outer square = 1102 = 12100 sq cm
Area of path = 12100 - 10000 = 2100 sq cm
Cost of cementing at the rate of Rs 250 per 10 sq m = Rs 250 × 210
= Rs 52500

☆Hello friend☆

Let's take out area of inner square= 50m×50m
= 2500m^2

Length if side of outer square= 50+2.5+.25
= 55m

Area of outer square= 55m×55m
= 3025 m^2

So, Area of path= 3025 m^2- 2500 m^2
= 525 m^2

hope \: it \: helps
