Diameter of the bowl = 1cm
So, Radius(r) = 1/2 = 0.5cm
Height of the bowl = 4cm
So, the volume the bowl would contain =
πr^2h
Substitutue π = 22/7 or π = 3.14
22/ 7 × 0.5 * 0.5 * 4 = 3.14 cm^3
So to serve 500 patients, the soap required would be = 500*3.14 = 1570 cm^3 (Ans....)
