ANSWER:-

Given:

A patient in a hospital is given soup daily in a cylindrical bowl of diameter 7cm. If the bowl is filled with soup to a height of 4cm.

To find:

How much soup the hospital has to be prepared daily to serve 250 patient.

Solution:

Here,

A cylindrical bowl of diameter is 7cm

So,

⚫Radius is 7/2 = 3.5cm

Height(h) = 4cm

Therefore,

Volume of soup in the cylindrical bowl is, πr²h.

 =  >  (\frac{22}{7}  \times 3.5 \times 3.5 \times 4) {cm}^{3}  \\  \\  =  >  (\frac{1078}{7} ) {cm}^{3}  \\  \\  =  > 154 {cm}^{3}

Now,

Volume of soup to be prepared daily to serve 250 patients

=) (154 × 250)cm³

=) 38500cm³

If convert into litre;

=) 38.5 litres.

Hence,

The hospital has to prepare 38500cm³ of soup daily to serve 250 patients.

Hope it helps ☺️
