Given that Diameter of a cylindrical bowl = 7cm.
Then the radius of the cylindrical bowl r = d/2
= 3.5 cm.
Given that height of the cylindrical bowl = 4cm.
the volume of the soup in each cylindrical bowl = pir^2h
= 22/7 * (3.5)^2 * 4
= 22 * 3.5 * 0.5 * 4
= 154cm^3.
Then the volume of soup required to serve 250 patients = 250 * 154
= 38500cm^3
= 38.5litres.
Hope this helps!
