Given that Diameter of a cylindrical bowl = 7cm.

Then the radius of the cylindrical bowl r = d/2

                                                                    = 3.5 cm.

Given that height of the cylindrical bowl = 4cm.

the volume of the soup in each cylindrical bowl =
\pi {x}^{2} h

=22/7* {3.5}^{2} *4

=22/7 * 3.5 * 3.5 * 4

                                                                                =154cm^3.

Then the volume of soup required to serve 250 patients =
 250\times 154

= 38500cm^3

                                                                                                = 38.5litres.

Hope this helps!

Diameter=7cm

radius=d÷2

=7÷2

radius =3.5cm

Volume of cylinder=πr2h

= 22÷7×3.5cm×3.5cm×4cm

=154cm2
