Solution: Volume of 1 bowl= πr²h

=154cm³
Volume of 250 bowls = 250 × volume of 1 bowl
=250×154
=38500cm³
Litres of soup = volume of 250 bowls/1000 (1l=1000cm)³
=38500/1000
=38.5l
Thus the hospital has to prepare 38.5l of soup for 250 patients
