let c be the position of snake and a be the position of peacock.if their speeds are same , distance are also same so let suppose they will meet at point P,while b point makes right angle as the base of pillar
let the distance covered be x
so,by pythagoras theorem,
x^2=(9)^2+(27-×)^2
54x=810
x=15m
distance from the hole will be
27-15=12m
