AS THE BALL IS DROPPED AT MEANS IT FALLS UNDER GRAVITATIONAL FORCE WHICH ACCELERATION DUE TO GRAVITY = 4.9 M/S².

G = 4.9 M/S²

USING 2ND EQUATION OF MOTION,

h= u t +  \frac{1}{2} g {t}^{2}  \\ h = 0 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 4.9 \times  {3}^{2}  \\ h =  \frac{45 - 0.9}{2}  =  \frac{44.1}{2}  = 22.05 \: m
FROM 0 TO 3 SECONDS IT WILL FALL 22.05 M.

IN 2 SECONDS IT WILL FALL 22.05 - 4.9 M = 17.15 METRES
