As pebbel goes downward to upward,P.E. will converting into K.E. When pebble reaches to its highest point, all potiential enery of pebbel will converted into kinetic energy & when pebble going upward to downward,K.E. is converting into P.E. when reaches to its lowest point (just above the ground),all kinetic energy will converted into potient ENERGY

when the people is thrown upwards the kinetic energy in it is converted to potential energy. At the top point in its motion its kinetic energy is completely converted into potential energy. While coming down the potential energy is converted into kinetic energy and at the bottom the potential energy is completely converted to kinetic energy.
