A peice of wire of resistence 20 . is drawn out to increase its length to twice as original length . Calculate its resistance now.

it residence would become 40

When length of wire get twice then, it's area become 1/2 of it's original.
As we know R=pL/A
IF A reduces by half then resistance will increases and becomes twice as 40 ohm.
