According to your question,
two equations will be formed.
let no. of pen be a
no of pencil be b
no of books be c
now,
a+b+c=100.....................i
10a+0.25b+25c=1000........ii
since, variables are 3 and equations available are 2 so it can not be solved by any method. either this question is incomplete or its wrong.
Ps: the only method to solve it i can think of is by " HIT AND TRIAL" method.
