a pencil when dipped in water in a glass tumbler appears to be bent at the interface of air and water will the pencil appear to be bent at the same angle if instead of water we put kerosene in the tumbler .give reason to support your answer​

no because kerosene has different density compared to water

This is due to refraction of light.

Light bend towards normal if it travels from rarer to denser the light bend away from the normal if it travels from denser to rarer.

Here water and kerosene have different densities and thus sports to bent at different angles.
