Mg = 1N

Angle with verticle = ∆

Ma = 2N

Tension = T

Where m is the mass of bob

Bob is in stationary state so all the forces balance each oither.

Horizontal forces.

TSin∆ = Ma

TSin = 2N.....(1)

Verticle force

Tcos∆ = mg

Tcos = 1N......(2)

Add squares of (1) and (2)

(Cos² + Sin²) = 4 + 1

= 5

Tension = 5
