Given,

A pendulum is observed to complete 32 full cycles in 56 seconds.

Solution,

For calculating the period of the given pendulum we have to calculate the amount of time for the completion of one cycle of that pendulum. And,for calculating the frequency of the pendulum,we have to calculate the number of cycles completed by that pendulum in 1 second.

So,

The period of the pendulum = 56/32 = 1.75 seconds

The frequency of the pendulum = 32/56 = 0.571 hz (approx.)

Hence, the period of the pendulum is 1.75 seconds and the frequency of the pendulum is approximately 0.571 hz.
