Given :

Number of oscillations in 50 s = 32 .

Time period = time taken / number of oscillations

⇒ Time period = 50 s / 32

⇒ Time period = 25/16 s

⇒ Time period = 6.25/4 s

⇒ Time period = 1.5625 s

The time period is 1.5625 s .

Frequency = 1/time period

⇒ Frequency = 1 / ( 50/32 ) s

⇒ Frequency = 32/50 Hz

⇒ Frequency = 64/100 Hz

⇒ Frequency = 0.64 Hz

The frequency is 0.64 Hz .

NOTE :

The time period is the reciprocal of frequency .

Hence the unit is also reciprocal .

Seconds (s) = 1/Hertz = 1/Hz .
