Answer:

Time = 4 sec.

Time Period = (Time taken) / (Number of Oscillations)

Time Period = (4/40) = 0.1 sec.

Frequency = (Number of Oscillations)/ (Time taken)

Frequency = (40/4) =10Hz.

\bf\underline{\underline{\red{GIVEN :}}}

  • Oscillates 40 times in 4 seconds.

\bf\underline{\underline{\red{TO FIND :}}}

  • Find its time period & frequency.

\bf\underline{\underline{\red{SOLUTION :}}}

Time Period,

Time period = Time/No. of oscillations in time

→ Time period = 4/40

→ Time period = 0.1 sec

Frequency,

Frequency = 1/Time period

→ Frequency = 1/0.1

→ Frequency = 10 Hz

Hence, the time period is 0.1 sec & frequency is 10 Hz.
