use your graph to estimate the time it will take for the penny to reach the water

Solution:

D= -16T² + 196

From Graph around penny takes 3.5 sec  to   reach the water

From calculation

-16T² + 196 = 0

=> T²= 196/16

=>  T²= 49/4

=> T = 7/2

=> T = 3.5 sec
