(a) Pepsinogen is activated by HCl secreted by gastric gland and converted into pepsin. Later pepsin itself is able to convert Pepsinogen into pepsin.
(b) Bile juice contains no digestive enzymes, yet it is important for digestion. ... Bile juice has bilepigments such as bilirubin and biliverdin. These break down large fat globules into smaller globules so that the pancreatic enzymes can easily act on them. This process is known as emulsification of fats.

Hope it helps ❤️❤️

HCL converts pepsinogen into pepsin.

Biles helps in fat emulsification.

Explanation:

  • Pepsinogen is an inactive enzyme which is released by cheif cell of the stomach. The pepsinogen gets converted into active pepsin in the presence of HCL which creates an acidic environment in the stomach. Pepsin converts proteins into peptides.
  • Bile juice contains no digestive enzymes but it helps in the emulsification of fat so fats are broken down into small droplets and increases fat surface area.
  • This allows the lipase enzyme to rapidly and efficiently breakdown the fat into lipids.
