Charles law states that, Pressure remaining constant, The volume of the gas is directly proportional to absolute temperature.

V ∝ T

From this, We can write that,

 \frac{V_{1}}{V_{2}} = \frac{T_{1}}{T_{2}} \\

Given,

⇒Initial volume = V

⇒Final volume = 2V

⇒Initial temperature = 27 + 273 = 300 K

⇒Final temperature = xK

Now,

 \frac{V}{2V} = \frac{300}{x} \\ \\ \frac{1}{2} = \frac{300}{x} \\ \\ x = 300 \times 2 \\ \\ x = 600

So, Final temperature = 600 - 273 = 327°C

Change in temperature = 327 - 27 = 300°C.
