To Find:

  • Find area of Square whose Perimeter is 500 cm
  • Expand (7m - 4)²

Solution:

  • If perimeter is 500 then,

 \sf 4(side) = 500 \\  \sf \: side =  \frac{ \cancel{500} \: 125}{ \cancel 4 \: 1}  = 125 \\  \sf \: Area =  {(side)}^{2}  =  {(125)}^{2}  = 15,625 \\  \\  \boxed{ \sf Area = 15,625 \:  {cm}^{2} }

  • We can use formula for finding expansion

 \sf \: {(x - y)}^{2}  =  {x}^{2}  - 2xy +  {y}^{2}  \\  \sf \: now \\  \sf \:  {(7m - 4)}^{2} =  {(7m)}^{2}   - 2(7m)(4) +  {(4)}^{2}  \\  \boxed{\sf   {(7m - 4)}^{2} = 49 {m}^{2}  - 28m + 16}

Step-by-step explanation:

If the perimeter is 500 then,

the side is

P = 4 X s

500 = 4 X s

500/4 = s

125 = s

Area = s X s

Area = 125 X 125

Area = 15625 cm^{2}

It is known that, (a-b)^{2} = a^{2} - 2ab^{2} + b^{2}

(7m-4)^{2} \\= (7m)^{2}  - 2 X (7m) X (4) + (4)^{2} \\= 49m^{2} - 56m +16

Thank You

Hope it Helps....
